Art Swap in Lawrenceville

I recently moved to the wonderful cornucopia of people and stuff called Lawrenceville. It's hip, walkable and as far as I can tell the only Pittsburgh neighborhood with it's own branding campaign.

Amongst the vegetarian and ethnic varieties of eateries, the small boutiques and the access to parks and river walks is a small but spirited art scene.

I'm attending an Art Swap tomorrow night at the Perk Me Up Coffee House on Butler street. The event is being put together by Michael Devine of Zombo Gallery.

Highlights of the Séance Series

Ghosts. Spirits. Apparitions. Pet Cemeteries. Horses. Shrouds. Rainbow souls. Michael Jackson. Surprising things are happening in Séance, the series of 1000 drawings I'm attempting to complete while the luminous clock ticks down to Halloween.

With 19 days to Halloween, here are some highlights of the project so far.
